At the dog park, I was met with smiles and felt a sense of belonging. This was created firstly as individuals recognized my dog and were glad to see him. The feeling continued as people were freely talking to each other. And also when things would happen with our dogs, we would communicate and speak civilly with each other, asking questions, like if what our dog was doing was all right. How we were able to joke and laugh with one another as complete strangers, yet with a common interest. The weather was absolutely beautiful and the sky was clear. One of the dog owners gave my dog a doggie treat. My dog really liked that. And when I left we all said goodbye to each other, as a dog owner community. 2/15/20 KINDNESS/CIVILITY

Finding the Golden Rule in action everywhere I go! It’s like time stops and I get to watch amazing scenes play out in front of me. Scenes that embody Kindness, Empathy, Respect, and Civility. Arizona is a Golden Rule State and I’m what you might call a Golden Rule prospector. View more posts
